This workshop is being held for one or two teachers from each of the PESP IT Pilot schools who will be given the responsibility of maintaining the school's website (View School List). These persons do not need to have any original competence in web page building as we will be working with templates. It is required however, that the persons be able to work comfortably with a mouse and keyboard in a windows environment and have competence in working with directories, files and folders, cutting, copying and pasting, dragging and dropping. How to prepare Collect information and pictures that you would want to use on your school site. If possible, have the information typed and saved in electronic format so that it can be easily copied to your work area. Draw a site map which is a diagram of what your site will look like with lines showing the links from page to page. Participants also need to ensure that they are able to navigate Windows comfortably and work with directories, files and folders.
