Welcome to the website for the International Conference In Education For CARICOM Countries. The Education Conference will be held at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa Montego Bay, Jamaica from 24 - 25 May 2011.

The Ministry of Education Jamaica, in association with the Government of Finland, and their partners, the Commonwealth of Learning and the Caribbean Examinations Council, is pleased to present this International Conference for CARICOM and OECS States.

PARTICIPANTS

The conference is designed to bring together policy makers and practitioners in education to explore successful models in teaching and learning.

SPEAKERS

Learn from the experiences of Finland, the Netherlands, Canada and CARICOM/OECS, and examine their relevance for improving education in the region.

The Conference will address a range of critically important themes relating to education today - universal quality education, learning for earning and learning for living, and accountability.
